Conservative Club

Welcome To The Club!

Welcome Back!

We are pleased to announce the re-opening of our club from Monday 6th of July at 12 noon. To ensure our club premises remains a safe and protected environment for our members, we have

followed all of the necessary guidelines set out by the Government.

There are some significant changes to the procedures in the club:

  • A social distancing rule of two metres will be required inside the building where designated walkways are visible and seating positioned in a specified layout - our garden area will be open and the same two metre distancing rule will apply.

  • Entry to our club will be via the main door only, you may exit through the garden or the disabled access route.

  • Hand sanitiser will be available in our entrance area for your use on entry. This will also be available in other areas. Whilst visiting us, please look after your own personal hygiene by washing your hands regularly. Hot air dryers will not be available, disposable paper towels will be available for single use.

  • Upon entering the club you will find clear signage directing you to the bar. Please consider others waiting to order and stick to social distancing. Screens have been fitted at the bar to protect yourselves and our bar staff.

  • Once served, you will need to be seated as no standing is permitted around the bar area - please do not move the chairs and tables as they have been positioned in a specific way to follow Government guidelines

  • When you leave us, please leave any glasses on the table as these will be removed and your table sanitised for the next patrons by the bar staff.

  • Gaming machines will be available for use with hand sanitiser and paper towels readily available nearby.

  • Unfortunately, our Snooker room will remain closed as it is not possible to maintain adequate safety.

  • No TV will be shown at this time.

  • Based on Government guidelines, we are not permitted to turn on our air conditioning.

  • Our members draw will continue on a Tuesday and Friday. All other draws have been cancelled.

Restaurant

It is with much regret that we have taken the decision to close our restaurant for the foreseeable future.  We will not currently be providing any food from our bar area.

Located in Manor Road, Torquay, our club provides a safe and secure alternative to pubs where you can meet up with friends and make new ones! It is an ideal venue to enjoy a relaxing lunchtime or evening drink with good company.
We offer a wide range of cask and keg bitters from just £2.75 per pint, lagers, wines, spirits, soft drinks and tea/coffee, all very competitively priced.
We usually offer a wide range of facilities including BT Sport TV , three full sized snooker tables, darts, cards & cribbage, gaming machines and Free Wi-Fi - unfortunately not all of these are available at the current time as detailed above in our re-opening update!

We have very successful live acts to entertain you every Saturday night, fortnightly Sunday bingo, club quiz nights and a number of different draws for you to take part in but again not all of these are available at the moment.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the club or would like to come and have a look around — press the door buzzer and one of our friendly staff will be delighted to help. We are open every day and look forward to seeing you soon.
