The charities that we support are chosen by the Club Committee on an annual basis following suggestions from our members.  They are selected based on local interest, personal experience or recommendation.

For 2024/2025 our chosen charity is the Torbay Hospital League of Friends. As well as a bottle for donations of loose change placed on the bar, a variety of events will take place during the year in order to fundraise for this very worthy charity.

 

It was our pleasure to welcome two ladies from our new club charity for 2024/2025 to the club at our Presidents Evening on Wednesday 5th June. Kathryn Westaway - Chairman and Patricia Roberts, President of the Torbay Hospital League of Friends were very grateful to our members for choosing to support their charity for the next year.

They gave us an insight into the wonderful items that they are able to provide for the hospital, some large and some small, but all of which make a huge difference to the wards and hospital departments that receive these amazing gifts thanks to kind donations and fundraising efforts of many local people.

We look forward to raising vital funds for the Torbay hospital League of Friends here at the club this coming year.
